LEARNING OUTCOMES

In this course, you will learn about the proper format for Formal and Semi formal letters , Minutes of meetings, Internal Memos, Professional E-mail correspondence, and Official Reports. You will also learn basic business writing techniques, such as how to use active voice, maintain consistency, write for your audience and write concisely. You will develop your business writing skills by completing the following practical assignments:
First assignment: you’ll write a series of letters.

Second assignment: you’ll write professional minutes of meetings.

Third assignment: you’ll write several short memos and email messages.

Fourth assignment: you’ll design a Formal Report.
