Student Visa Work Hours

Need to find out the latest news about international student working hours in Australia?

It has just been announced that up until 30 June 2023, all ongoing international students as well as new student arrivals in Australia will be able to work more than 40 hours a fortnight in any sector of the economy and work before their course of study commences.

This is a great result for international students looking to study and work in Australia, as it means that students will now be able to earn more to support their studies, in what is a very strong job market due to increased workforce shortages in Australia.

There has not been a better time to study in the country, with a strong rebounding economy, increased minimum wage as well as more relaxed migration laws than in the past 3 years.
