The Australian economy is quickly recovering from the pandemic effects. For that, the Australian government has announced a huge increase in the numbers of invitations for international immigrants. For example, the Skilled visa stream has increased from 79,600 during the financial year 2021-2022 to 109,900 during the financial year 2022-2023. The invited 189 Skilled independent visas increased from only 1000 during the April 2022 invitation round to 12,200 during the August 2022 invitation round and the required points dropped from 85 down to 65 and the cutoff date moved from May 2020 to August 2022. That means people are getting invitations with the lowest possible score a few days after submitting their expression of interest (EoI). The Department of Home Affairs has made almost 50,000 state nominated visas available this year, with New South Wales allocated the highest amount. Victoria had opened up its list of occupations to include almost every industry.
